Welcome to the Cookie Monster Mom Blog! I am so glad you are here. Let me start by saying this blog is by no means expert advice, professional guidance, or a specialist’s opinion. I am just a regular mom like most of you that has a lot of ideas I want to share with the world (or at least the small portion of the world who still reads blogs).

My hope is for this blog to be a place where we can share tips and tricks, recipes, laughs, ideas, and so much more. Among other things, this blog will contain a lot of my #momlife, a little sarcasm, and tips on how to run a business (more details on that to come!). I’m looking forward to sharing my thoughts and my knowledge with you all and I intend to create an environment where I can learn from you as well.

Before we get started let me introduce myself…

My name is Ashlee. I am married to my husband, Kolton, and we have an adorable son, Kingston. Currently, I work as an Office Manager for my family’s business in the Pension Administration industry and have been doing so for the last decade. Kolton is a Navy veteran and ex police officer turned student and stay-at-home dad. We have two puppies, Jax and Kosmo, and we live a pretty simple life.

I have always loved baking (and eating) cookies and really anything sweet. But on the flip side of that, I also have a passion for health and fitness. I have found a delicate balance between the two, and the happy medium I now live in means I workout as often as I can and follow it with a pint of edible cookie dough. It works for me.

I am coming up on a very exciting point in my life where I am a new mom, a new wife, and I am professionally about to take a huge leap. I have the most amazing, supportive husband and the most adorable little boy by my side. I can’ wait to see what our next chapter has in store for us, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
